DOG DAYS ARE OVER

2016 Senior Prank

“I think it was a great idea and one of the least harmful things we could have done,” Senior Riley Couch said.

Students from the graduating class of 2016 brought their dogs to school on the last day of senior year. As expected, SHS administration was less than pleased with the prank, but students viewed it as a harmless addition to the legacy of the senior prank tradition.

“We’re not thrilled with some of the reactions from some of the seniors […],” Vice Principal Derek Dickinson said. “Obviously we can’t have dogs in the school, and most kids were pretty cooperative about it. There were a few who tried to push it a little far and then there were others who took it to the extreme and were disrespectful to staff members, and that’s where we have a problem.”
