A student was suspended after making a threat via text according to an email sent by the SHS principal Jacki Crossingham on Sunday.
Campus Security Officer JD McElroy collaborated with Resource Officer Don Little and Bonner County Sheriff’s Deputy to conduct a thorough investigation. They concluded that the threat was not credible, according to the email sent to families and staff of SHS on Sunday evening.
Staff at SHS also received an email on Monday morning reminding them of the security protocols in place. The email asks that teachers remind students to use smartpass if they must leave class, not to leave in the first and last 10 minutes of class, and to only enter and exit through the front doors only.
