Student Council kicks off kindness week by encouraging students to fill a whole wall with kind words written on sticky notes.

Students’ days were a little brighter this week as Sandpoint High School observed kindness week February 25 through March 1 of 2019. The Student Council made it their mission to introduce acts of kindness into students’ lives throughout the entire week by organizing various activities for students and staff to participate in and show kindness towards each other. ASB President Ben Robinson explained, “[Student Council] [was] hoping to inspire students to pay it forward and to lift the students’ spirits at SHS.” Robinson believes that their goal of spreading and encouraging kindness throughout the school was achieved. “I would encourage students to have courage and do something for the benefit of others, even if you don’t receive recognition.” said Robinson
