DEAR SUNK IN A FUNK
Mediocre advice with Hannah and Cienna
Dear Hannah and Cienna,
As the weather gets colder and the days get darker, I feel like I am stuck in a rut. What can I do to shake things up in my life?
Sincerely,
Sunk in a Funk
Dear Sunk in a Funk,
Don’t be depresso, grab an espresso with someone. No, seriously, try inviting someone that you don’t usually hang out with to a cafe. This will give you a new perspective into life, and you might even gain a new friend in the process. It may be out of your comfort zone, but if you are in a rut, you need to challenge yourself to do new things. If one-on-one interaction isn’t your thing, you could join a new club or try a new sport. You’d be surprised how much getting involved can spice up the average high school experience. Switch up your daily routine in some way: make a new playlist, cook a new recipe, or take a new route on your way home. You can also change your look. Maybe experiment with a different haircut or buy a new outfit that makes you feel confident and motivated. Adding variety to your life will help fight your funk.
