It is always exciting to attend sporting events, sit in the grandstand while looking over the field, and cheer on the athletes. Now, War Memorial Field is an even more impressive facility for athletes and fans to enjoy. The endeavor to install synthetic turf is finally complete. As one of the few high schools in North Idaho that has the luxury of a turf field, Sandpoint High School athletes have a home turf to be proud of. The new design includes a fresh looking football field, baseball diamond, and softball diamond that can be utilized by many school sports.
