Best of 2019

A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon was my favorite movie this year because it reminds me of my childhood days. – Shea Kilpatrick

Rocketman, Elton John’s biography in movie form, was one of the most moving films I’ve ever seen. Before the movie, he was just another pop icon to me. After the movie, I had a newfound respect for him. On top of that, the acting and cinematography were amazing. 11/10. – Olivia Lynch

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was full of unexpected twists and turns. Personally, I thought it was a great end of the Skywalker saga as it answers most questions people had in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. – Joe Parsley

Avengers Endgame was the best movie of 2019. I don’t watch a lot of movies, but Avengers Endgame was a great ending to the Marvel Universe, as well as just a very well thought out and produced movie. – Connor Bird

Avengers Endgame. A thrilling conclusion to a phenomenal series, overall a deeply emotional journey of love and loss, honor and responsibility, family and friendship, with an ending that will not only leave you satisfied but also in tears. – Autumn Morgan

Worst of 2019

The movie Yesterday was definitely the most boring movie I watched this year. I love the Beatles music but the movie portrayed the songs in a cringy and odd way. Also, what’s the deal with Ed Sheeran randomly showing up in the movie? – Hadley Goodvin

The movie Last Christmas was a total cliche. It had a very boring plot line that was attempted to be saved with a plot twist during the climax. But honestly the climax ruined the whole movie, because the supposedly “epic” love story was a figment of her imagination. – Gabby Hicks

Cats, which is basically a live-action movie about cats, takes the cake for worst movie of 2019. If you don’t believe me, just watch the preview. If you still don’t believe me, watch the movie in theaters. – Joe Parsley
