What was your first impression of Sandpoint?

“I think it’s really pretty, I really like it because it’s really colourful, like the paintings on the walls I really like them.”

What’s a cultural difference between here and your home?

“For us [Italians] if someone killed a deer it’s really like oh my god, and here it’s good to go out and hunt, it’s a big difference.”

What other languages do you speak?

“Italian, French for three years, and I don’t speak Latin but I know how to write it and read it.”

What made you chose to become a foreign exchange student?

“I didn’t want to know exactly where I wanted to be in a year and I wanted to change my routine and to go on an adventure.”

What’s one cultural thing you want to experience?

“I really like all the lights when it’s Christmas, and in Italy not a lot of people use them as decor so I really want to see Christmas.”

What are some of your favorite things to do?

“I really love to watch movies, and read and play video games.”
