Almost anyone knows that January is the worst month for anything; uploading, sales, and in this case video game releases. We have random games from random companies, and re-releases for different platforms. Looking at statistics, and one of my friends, the only game that has received the most hype for the month of January is Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

Dragon Ball Z is an animated series that has been around since 1989. Its fandom has grown ever so vastly since then. When it first game title released a year later, the series had made it place in the world of popularity. The games are based on the series but with a twist. It’s a constant fighting game that involves the series most iconic characters. All this comes up to the release of January’s most hyped game; Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

Relive the story of Goku and the other Z Fighters in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Beyond the epic battles, experience life in the Dragon Ball Z world as you fight, fish, eat, and train with Goku and other iconic characters. Explore new areas and adventures as you advance through the story and form powerful bonds with other heroes from the Dragon Ball Z universe.

I’m not a DBZ fan myself, but I do love an action packed fighting game. This one has a story too, which just adds more to the excitement. If you have a PS4 or PC, and you like DBZ or just fighting games in general, this game is recommended at the retail price of $59.99.
