RILEY CREEK WATER FESTIVAL
May 18 and 19, the Sandpoint Water Festival was held at the Riley Creek Campgrounds in Laclede
This festival focused on water and nature conservation, highlighting topics like watersheds, animal tracks, compass work, trapping and fish populations, and how they affect local communities.
Fifth grade students from schools within the Idaho Panhandle participated, including all Sandpoint elementary schools.
High School students from Mr. Hastings classes and National Honor Society volunteered their time to lead the children around and help them with activities.
