IN SHORT: DISTINGUISHED YOUNG WOMEN
Saturday March 25 was the final program for Distinguished Young Women. A total of 10,500 dollars was awarded that night. The girls who participated in the program are: Abby Johnson, Calli Laybourne, Ellie McCray, Eleanore Mearns, Rachel Meyer, Julia Neuder, Emma Reed, and Alyssa Webster. Eleanore Mearns attends Forrest Bird Charter High School, and Abby Johnson, Calli Laybourn, Ellie McCray, Rachel Meyer, Emma Reed, Julia Neuder, and Alyssa Webster attend Sandpoint High School. Julia Neuder was awarded the title of Distinguished Young Women of 2017. Abby Johnson was awarded First Finalist and Emma Reed was awarded Second Finalist. Talent scholarships was awarded to Calli Laybourne and Julia Neuder, fitness to Ellie McCray and Abby Johnson, and Self Expression to Emma Reed and Julia Neuder. Interview was awarded to Julia Neuder. Be Your Best Self Essay Award was given to Alyssa Webster. Spirit was awarded to Elenore Mearns and finally Scholastics was awarded to Abby Johnson.
