FINAL FIVE
Five tips to get you through finals
Get organized
Collect your notes from the semester and review them in an order that makes sense. Write in a planner/ calendar the schedule for finals and the things you need to complete in order to be prepared for the end of the semester. If you realize that you missed a lesson or are missing some notes ask a classmate to let you copy theirs.
Study with friends
Try to make studying as fun as possible. Maybe set one night aside to study with friends. You probably have friends that could help you with basically any subject. Ask the people in your class if they want to form a study group.
Focus on what matters
Try to prioritize your classes in a way that will benefit your gpa the most. Don’t spend all of your time studying for the subjects you actually like. If history is your favorite class, chances are you will have a good grade in that course and would be better suited focusing your time on other subjects like math and science. Make sure you still study for your history exam though, don’t overestimate how much you know.
Talk to your teachers
Go in for access and ask your teachers for help with lessons or concepts you’re unclear on. Ask your teachers what topics are most important for you personally to review. Often times, teachers know more about what you need help with than you do.
Take care of yourself
Take some time off of studying for yourself and relax. Make sure that you are eating fairly healthy and that you don’t have a new coffee or energy drink addiction in order to get that last hour of studying in. Set aside at least an hour everyday where you can color or do something relaxing.
