Powderpuff is Sandpoint High School’s girls homecoming flag football event. Participants are seperated by grade level, expected to attend three team practices, and will face off against the other grades. The teams will be coached by SHS football players in their grade.

There will be team practices held on Thursday, Sept. 8 and Thursday, Sept. 13 from 6-7:30 pm. An additional practice will either be held on Friday, Sept. 9 or Monday, Sept. 12. depending on your grade level. Freshman will practice at Colt Field, Sophomores will practice at Pine Street Athletic field, Juniors will practice at the Interior Track Field, and Seniors will practice on the P92 Field.

The powderpuff games will occur on one night, Wednesday Sept. 13. The games will begin at 6 pm and end around 9 pm. Players will be expected to arrive at 5pm.

Student Council is in charge of setting up powderpuff, and due to the early homecoming week this year, student council members have worked over the summer in order to organize powderpuff practices, equipment and games.
