Students have been walking past the progress of the senior mural in the senior hall with a wondering mind. The senior mural team of seven qualified students has been working on the plan for mural since the beginning of the school year, drawing out plans and gathering supplies.

The team had a setback when they decided to change the design. Ms. Guthrie, the mural adviser, met with admin to approve the new direction. They decided the mural to be chaotic.

“That’s what the whole theme is, chaos, because that’s what the class of 2016 is as a whole. Chaos in a controlled environment,” senior Mary Johnson says.

The team also lost great amounts of time due to a delay in paint delivery. It pushed the progress back a full week. The mural is composed of both spray paint and acrylic paint.

The black spray painted circle has raised many questions from bypassers.

“I don’t really know what to think about,” says senior Sam Johnson. “I haven’t really looked at it that hard.”

A mirror is what is being debated to be placed in the empty black circle, it is now the simple task of finding a mirror to fit the dimensions.
