PHOTO ESSAY: FOOTBALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
In the State Championship game on Nov. 21, the Bulldogs fell to the Bishop Kelly Knights 34-21

Sandpoint Football qualified for the state finals, which were played on Nov. 21 in the Kibbie Dome in Moscow.

Many students, both current and alumni, from Sandpoint attended the game even though the drive was several hours.

Devin LaCroix (58) faces off against Bishop Kelly in the first half.

Coach Satini Puailoa talks to the athletes as they enter the second half of the game.

Senior Wyatt McCormick (34) catches a touchdown-scoring pass.

Senior Kyle Perry (44) carries the ball toward the end zone.

With Bishop Kelly two touchdowns ahead, it becomes clear that a state title has slipped from Sandpoint’s grasp.

The 2015 championship marks Bishop Kelly’s third consecutive football title.
