Epl Matchday 4 Fixtures to watch
1. Manchester City Vs Manchester United: This is the headline game of the weekend. It
hasn’t been the brightest of starts this season for either teams in Manchester, with Man
City losing two of the three they have played and Man Utd having shaky performances
playing lower sides. The Manchester Derby is always a fiery occasion and this time out
should be no different considering both sides are looking to turn it around. Expect plenty
of goals and a tense atmosphere at the Etihad.
Players to Watch: Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd), Erling Haaland (Man City)
2. West Ham Vs Tottenham Hotspurs: The London Derby will be one of the games to watch
for good reason. Tottenham’s first two games against Burnley and Man City were both
statement wins, sending the message that Spurs are not content with floating around the
mid table again, but they hit a bump in the road against a strong Bournemouth side.
They will be looking to prove that it was just a bump in the road. On the other hand, West
Ham will be looking to build on their 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest, after a dreadful
first two games against newly promoted Sunderland, and Chelsea. This matchup always
proves to be dramatic and this London derby should be no different.
Players to Watch: Jarod Bowen (West Ham), Xavi Simons (Tottenham Hotspurs)
3. Burnley Vs Liverpool: This will be an interesting Match, as Burnley take on Liverpool in
what often proves to be a fairly unpredictable Clash. Burnley has had a very mixed start
to their campaign, losing two out three of their opening fixtures. They will feel
disappointed not to have picked up points in their last match against Manchester United
in which they lost 3-2, The newly promoted side will be looking for the upset.
The champions, Liverpool, will be very confident going into this game having won all
three of their opening games and sitting top of the table. Over the international
break, the former Newcastle United star, Alexander Isak, signed for the reds for a British
record transfer fee of 130 million pounds. The Swedish striker is anticipated to make his
debut off the bench at the turf moor.
Whether you support either side or you’re neutral, Burnley Vs Liverpool is going to be
an exciting clash.
Players to Watch: Florian Wirtz (Liverpool), Lyle Foster (Burnley)
