Neiman Marcus cookies are famously known as the “$250 Cookie” due to the recipe’s steep price tag, which was unbeknownst to the original publisher. This “$250 Cookie” recipe was mass produced when a women who loved the cookies at Neiman Marcus asked for the recipe, the waiter told her it would be “two fifty”, thinking it was $2.50 the woman agreed. However, the cookie recipe was actually two hundred and fifty dollars, so out of spite the woman shared the recipe with the whole world, and we should be forever grateful she did. These cookies are a decedent play on the original chocolate chip cookie, with oats and chopped chocolate. Check out this recipe, and you’ll never go back.
