What is the biggest difference between this school and your old school?
“We start at 8 a.m. and in France we get out around 5-6 p.m., it’s cool because here it’s 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.”
What’s one thing you didn’t expect to change?
“The food changed a lot but I did expect that, I eat really healthy in France and the foods really different with my host family but I expected that.”
Has something funny happened since you have been here? If so what?
“Sometimes I say words that doesn’t mean what I expected it’s really awkward.”
What was your first impression of Sandpoint?
“It’s really beautiful, but really small because I live in a big city.”
What’s a something you notice different between here and your home?
“They’re really nice here and they don’t judge you they’re more open minded and helpful.”
What other languages do you speak?
“I speak french, english, italian, and I can write latin and greek.”
What’s the difference between your host family and your actual family?
“They’re so much different they’re really nice to me and they understand me and help me a lot and I’m treated like I’m part of the family.”
What made you chose to become a foreign exchange student?
“My parents were always host families so I grew up with that and knew it was normal for me to do it.”
