HUMANS OF SANDPOINT HIGH: MAELYN NAKAMOTO
Sophomore sees snow for the first time.
December 3, 2015
“I’m from Hawaii and when we moved here I didn’t actually expect to see snow this early. I lived near a mountain in Hawaii and every time we thought it would snow, it didn’t. So the first time it snowed here my mom woke me and my sister up and told us that it was snowing. So we ran to put our boots on. I didn’t even realize I was only wearing shorts and a t-shirt until I was outside. We went outside in the snow and I took pictures, made a snowman and snow angels. It was like 1 a.m. but we didn’t really care.”
