What is the biggest difference between this school and your old school?

“That there’s A days and B days, and you can choose your classes.”

Has something funny happened since you have been here?

“People ask me, ‘do you speak German in your school or English? Do you have different water?’ There’s some crazy questions.”

What was your first impression of Sandpoint?

“I think it’s so beautiful here and I like it.”

What’s a cultural difference you see between here and your home?

“The food is different. It’s more fattening here.”

What languages do you speak?

“I learned a little bit of French and learned latin, but I can’t speak it and here I’m learning Spanish and I can speak German.”

What made you chose to become a foreign exchange student?

“I think it would be cool to experience a new country, to learn about it and go to high school, and my sister did it too.”

What’s one cultural thing you want to experience?

“The high school experience.”
