HUMANS OF SANDPOINT HIGH: MEGAN PRICE-WILLIAMS

“It was actually a bit of a culture shock, like even though I was part of American culture before, it was still shocking to return back. One of the things I noticed first when I landed in New York was the racial diversity. Because in Ukraine it’s predominantly white, when I went to New York I was like ‘woah I forgot there was this many other races.’ American high school is a lot different than the high school I went to in Ukraine mainly because it’s so large, all the ideas are different, like more self-conscious of your standing amongst your peers and more pressure to be a certain thing, to act a certain way.”
